Even after two month or let alone two [...] A couple months ago I decided I will set my Firefox default background color from bright white to a dimmed white/grayish of some sort. When opening text files or other unstyled content, I get a less brighter screen to look at. And now a lot of website look totally ugly! It’s quite revealing how many websites [...] Today I was browsing through a Lucene version 2.4 index with Luke 0.9.9 and I finished off my session by running optimize. This broke my web application, as it couldn’t read the database anymore. Glancing at the server logs, I quickly realized the data files had been converted into latest Lucene 2.9 format. Okay, no [...] Ooh, I should have written about this ages ago but I’ve been busy, lazy and ignorant for the past month. 2008 is triple milestone in my life. 10 years ago I moved to Finland from Sweden. It sure sounds interesting and I really think this technology (or something comparable) will be a necessity in the future with all these websites available on the Internet that we use daily… I’m now a BSc in Software Engineering!
